Draw is the bundled and relatively simple image drawing program. It is not a bitmap image editor, rather it stores each individual shape as a vector object. Shapes can be further manipulated after being placed, and zooming in or out will not result in pixelation.
Unfortunately, due to my lack of a mouse, I was unable to demo this program. Such a shame...

Deskmate 3 includes a copy of PC-Link, an online service that connected many people to many a kind of information sources.
An interesting note is the fact that PC-Link and Quantum Computers eventually became AOL.

Conclusion: Deskmate 3 is a huge leap forward from Deskmate 2. Even though it is kind of awkward to use as opposed to more modern operating systems, and the text-based origin of Deskmate is plainly obvious, it is among the best of it's time period. |
