It is interesting to note that the majority of desktop actions need to be taken using the New Activity button, rather than the context menu.

The CLD control panel is pretty much the same as any other KDE control panel.

Calculate seems to also have this unnecessarily redundant control panel here, unhelpfully called the "Calculate Console".

CLD bundles both Konqueror and Chromium as web browsers. Again, for the reallybigillionth time, multiple applications doing the same thing is a waste of space.

Conclusion: Calculate Linux is not any different from other KDE-based Linux distros. It is arranged slighly differently, which might be better for some people, but it isn't a real selling point. |
