OS/2 1.1 Colors
It seems as though applications in OS/2 avoid use of an OK button...

OS/2 1.1 Task Manager
OS/2 also got a task manager, while Windows 2.0 got nothing. Interestingly to shut the computer down you must use the Shutdown menu on the task manager.

OS/2 1.1 Tile
It is entirely possible to tile application windows, as it is in Windows.

OS/2 1.1 Command Interpreters
In terms of a command line, you can either use DOS or an OS/2 command interpreter. The OS/2 interpreters can be run in a window or full-screen, and can also be closed. the DOS prompt is always open, and can only run full-screen in this version of OS/2

OS/2 1.1 Demo apps
Finally, we have the two demo apps included with OS/2: an alarm clock, and Bricks (an Arkanoid/Breakout-type game).

OS/2 1.1 Shutdown
Shutting down OS/2. In typical IBM fashion everything must have an ID code, including a successful shutdown.

Conclusion:
OS/2 1.1 is basically like a tech preview of Windows 3.0, in Windows 2.x styling with a different color scheme. It's almost as if Microsoft left out all these improvements in Windows deliberately, to make Windows seem like an inferior product and less of a competitor to OS/2 since no one would want to use it. Food for thought (or a huge debate), but OS/2 is vastly superior to Windows.
