Windows "Chicago" Build 56

Here we have the three menus.

The one on the left is the traditional start menu, however it does not appear to do much yet.

The one in the middle is a search menu which seems to list open windows as well.

And the last one is a help menu, which is self-explanatory.

The about window is nothing new for a Windows 3.x user.

Chicago 56 File Management Fail
I don't know what happened, but apparently the File Cabinet locks up the system upon attempting to launch. It does not do anything, and you cannot do much short of resetting the entire machine.
So I don't even know if any programs are installed!

Chicago 56 Shutdown
Shutting down Chicago, which bears a resemblance to the Windows NT shutdown.

Conclusion:
Windows Chicago at this point is very primitive, and mostly non-functional (although I think that was moreso a botched install/failed install media).
