Of course, Microsoft cannot completely revert back to the classic desktop. Here is the new start menu, completely using old code from Windows 8. In fact, it is the Windows 8 start screen, running in a virtual machine window and interacting with Windows 9 through some kind of new technology Microsoft only refers to as "Metro Active Desktop". So that is why Windows 9 requires 65536 GB of RAM or more to operate. Of course you can trick it into running with less, but it will run VERY slowly...or not...Metro Active Desktop confuses me greatly. But hey, what is old is now new again!

There is no longer such thing as a "My Documents" folder. Or any folders, for that matter. All your files now go into the Windows folder, as they belong to Microsoft. They have even said they "want to take more control over your PC" and are apparently prepared to go beyond activation to do that. In fact Windows 9 has no product activation.
