Like in OS/2 you need to use the Minimized Window Viewer to see anything you have minimized since icons do not appear on the desktop.

The setup program is really just the same as the control panel, and all the applets are the ones from Windows 3.1!

The property settings dialogs have retained the tabbed style that I really like.

There aren't nearly as many templates included by default as OS/2 Warp had.

Conclusion: The Workplace Shell seems useful for people that had to have OS/2 without actually buying OS/2. However it doesn't seem to be nearly as intuitive and nearly as complete as it does on the real OS/2. |
