The File Manager remains the same, but I am including it to show the default window appearance and controls.
Somewhere along the way, Haiku got a new "Flat" theme that allegedly gets rid of the gradients used and makes it appear more like something like Windows 8 would (without all the UI stupidity, of course). However it's not installed by default, and since the repositories are disabled I couldn't add it.

Here is something new: Haiku now includes its own package management system known as HaikuDepot, which should make it easier to download and install programs that are continuously being ported to Haiku.

Also new (I think) is this software updater, which makes it possible to upgrade portions of the operating system without going through a full reinstall.
